Welcome to Scribe's Tower, a Malkav Productions project. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our AI-powered campaign management service. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms.
Service Description
Scribe's Tower is a web-based application that helps tabletop roleplaying game masters manage their campaigns using AI assistance. The service includes campaign organization, AI-powered content generation, record management, and related features.
User Accounts
- You must create an account to use Scribe's Tower. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
Your Content & AI-Generated Content
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to Scribe's Tower, including campaign notes, characters, and other materials ("Your Content").
When you use our AI features, you provide inputs (prompts, context, campaign data) and receive outputs (generated text, suggestions, records). As between you and Scribe's Tower, you own both your inputs and the AI-generated outputs.
You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the service.
AI-generated content is provided for creative assistance. Due to the nature of AI technology, similar outputs may be generated for different users. You are responsible for reviewing and using AI outputs appropriately.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
- Use the service to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
- Share your account credentials with others
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
Subscriptions & Payments
Scribe's Tower offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected.
Payments are processed by our merchant of record. By subscribing, you also agree to their terms of service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Service Limitations
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
AI features rely on third-party AI providers and may occasionally produce inaccurate or unexpected results.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Usage limits apply based on your subscription tier.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Malkav Productions (operating as Scribe's Tower) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. You may export your data before termination using our export features.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
